Resource Description

Analyse the ways in which the prescribed text and ONE other text of your
own choosing represent individual and collective human experiences.

The Crucible (1958) by Arthur Miller and Welcome To The Monkey House (1968) by Kurt Vonnegut gives an insight into human and collective experiences through their effective and comprehensive usage of paradoxes and inconsistencies. Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible depicts the impact that disorder and division can have on justice, law, and community wellbeing, additionally exposing how societal division can leave a community susceptible to fear and false belief systems based of the actions of a few individuals.
