1.1 Text

1.1.1 Text ­ Fonts ­ The types of fonts are: ­ Serif: Fonts that have curved heads and tails known as “serifs”. Used for headings. ­ San­Serif: Fonts that do not have “serif”. Used for headings and body paragraphs and for more modern designs. ­ Decorative Font: Embellished font that is often used only for headings as they are usually harder to read.

1.1.2 Text ­ Formatting ­ There are many formatting options for text including: ­ Bold: Thickening of the text. Used to emphasise and bring attention to a section of text. ­ Italics: Slanting of the text. Used to emphasise and bring attention to a section of text.
