Resource Description

The task was to write, deliver and record a TED Talk on the following prompt: Inescapably, Othello is a cultural seismograph, measuring the extent and force of gender, racial, or class upheavals in any society that performs the script. I was required to make detailed reference to Shakespeare’s original play and at least one contemporary adaptation or appropriation of my own choosing. It was to be structured in the form of an analytical essay, with a clear thesis, introduction, PETAL paragraphs, and conclusion. I received full marks.
